News Eating Disorder Awareness Week 2021
In our lifetimes, Binge Eating Disorder [BED] will affect one in fifty of us. It is a serious mental illness and one which many will suffer with alone because of the fear of judgement or the unknown in finding help and support.
We want to change that, so we are calling for 'SUPPORT NOT STIGMA' and we need your help!
We are inviting all our friends and followers to start sharing these words on their hands over the next few weeks, encouraging their own friends and families to learn more about stigma surrounding mental health and what we can do to better support eachother.
If you're a little camera shy, you can download and share the graphics above via the link here. Or you can send any images, stories or content to our team on firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have had more personal experience with stigma, you can use #SupportForStigma to tell us your story, and together we can create a community of support and understanding, helping to end the stigma surrounding mental health.
